Hi, In my new installation of FC4, microsoft truetype fonts are not showing up. For the debugging purpose i have tried installing/uninstalling this http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/files/msttcorefonts-1.3-3.noarch.rpm file. What I have noticed is that right after installation the openoffice shows the fonts ( I haven't restarted yet). But if I reboot it the fonts are vanished without the trace. If I rpm -q msttcorefonts, its still there. Next I tried to install the fonts manually copying it to /usr/local/fonts/ttf # cd /usr/local/fonts/ttf # ttmkfdir > fonts.scale mkfontdir next added the line in /etc/X11/fx/config "/usr/local/fonts/ttf" (with comma) still no luck. Any idea, suggestion? By the way I have already installed the compatibility rpms (in case these are not compatible with gcc). Thanks in advance Deepak K.
