Im trying to build Linux from the scratch

can anyone help me to create PTYs in chrooted environment.

Im using fedora core 3.

In my host system PTYs are created.

when i chroot to another to another place and issued the following
command it displays the message to create more PTYs

expect -c "spawn ls"
