made my Matrox G450 graphics card to fail to give anything but a blackscreen.I guess it had someting to do with the new upgraded gcc and accompanyingupgraded

libs.

However, if I recompiled X everything works fine. In fact it works muchbetterthan before as the I now can use ctrl-alt-Fn to get a console windowthat actually

works and not jusst is black with green border.
