printer time-out

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I have a lineprinter IBM connected to a printserverbox of D-Link DP-303,
going to Fedora3
When the printer gets in sleep-mode, Cups puts the printer off-line,
this is 'disables the printer'
To get the printer on-line again, I have to execute '/usr/bin/enable
printername'
All this is because of the time-out parameter of the Linux printing
system, which is, I think 300 sec.
Is there a way to extend this time?
