hi,

              Just go to the following site:-

http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/info/ntfs.html

download the appropriate rpm file according to ur kernel. u can check
kernel through 'uname -a' cmd. after downloading just install it and
then mount winxp ntfs partition with the following cmd:-

mount /dev/hda3 /mnt/winxp

note here hdaX is ur winxp partition number and winxp directory under
/mnt would have to be created by u.

in case ur winxp drive is fat32 then u don't need to download rpm and
just issue the above mount command.
