I have my machine in dual boot FC3 and debian (ubuntu), and noticed
that on FC3 my system disk is hda, but once i add two drive
on the on-board raid (this is a ASUS P4C800 board), they become
hda and hdb, and the system boot disk is hdc (thank heavens for the
LABEL= feature). On debian/ubuntu it's the other way around,
i.e. i keep hda is the system, and the raid disks are hdb and hdc...

Now on another machine, all SATA, have a similar experience. FC3
is using sda for theh boot disk. Once i engage the 3ware raid card,
it become sda, and the system boot is sdb..

Is there any way i can control that? E.g. in grub
