Hi, Thanks for your response. I did the following to get blender working. I downloaded and saved SCONS from Fedora extras for x64 and the source from Blender. Unpacked Blender's scource. It had an SConstruct file ready. I compiled using scons and later used scons clean to delete some temp files. Then Blender worked. I later found that Fedora extras had Blender to download! Thanks.
