SATA adapters

Hello list;
  I need to add more storage to my system.
I already have 4 IDE devices.
I was thinking of using an SATA -> IDE adapter.
My system has SATA, but right now it is unused.

Newegg has:
 "Silicon Image SIL3611 Chipset"
 "Koutech Serial ATA-to-IDE Adapter Kit, Model ASA150D"
 and "GWC Serial ATA to IDE Converter Model AD3300"

Does anyone have experience with any these with Fedora?

Thanks
  Mick M.
