Hello, all,

I've been a Linux user since buying my new PC about a month ago
(replacing an ancient Power Mac 7500 running MacOS 9.1); running Fedora
Core 3 on it.

Between KDE and Gnome, I've been sticking with Gnome; for me, its
interface seems "cleaner" (fewer buttons on every window/bar/etc.) than
KDE seems to. Plus, Gnome's interface feels more reminiscent of my
favorite OS GUI, Mac OS 9 (seperate windows for opening folders vs.
some disliked-by-me web browser interface, etc.), vs. KDE feeling more
Windows-like to me. I do use some KDE programs (such as kdeprintfax or
kppp), though.

I also understand there's something of a perpetual "KDE vs. Gnome" flame
war... :-)

But as the others said, one should use whatever one wishes and enjoys...

Anthony
