I use it and had the same problem. Actually (for me) it wasn't a problem. I 
use KDE and have a device on my desktop, I plug the pen drive in, wait about 
30 seconds, and click on the device. It mounts it and opens the destination 
in konqueror. I had to add a line to fstab similar to this:
/dev/sda1                   /media/usb          ext3,vfat  rw,users 0 0
and it works fine. I have vfat and ext3 selected because my pen drive is ext3, 
but I have an mp3 player that is a vfat filesystem. Hope this helps!
