Hi,

How can I configure Firefox so that it will open a link in a new tab instead of a new window? I already have this option selected in the Firefox preferences --> Advanced --> Tabbed browsing -->
"Open links from other applications in:"
...
"a new tab in the most recent window.",
but when I click on a link in Thunderbird, it always opens a new Firefox window. Is there anywhere else I should change?
I'm using:
FC3
KDE
Firefox 1.0
Thunderbird 0.9

Thanks,

Thanks a lot for the answers. The way I solved it was just changing the line 224 in /usr/bin/firefox to remove the new-window parameter from the Firefox call, as suggested by Mariano and in the bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=138789
That solved it.

Thanks.
