How very bizarre! So what was the version you were using? I have version 0.9 (20041103) and mine had the "Attach this signature" checkbox.
Sorry, but it's gone. Overwritten by the upgrade to Ver 20041216/Ver 1. It was version .9 but what iteration, I don't know.
