YOu need to load the i8k module.

you can try on a command line : (as root)
$ modprobe i8k

did it! No such device!


I'm not sure if its compiled by the Fedora kenrel. I usually roll my own
kernel, and there's the i8k option.
CONFIG_I8K=m

that's what i don't know how to do! i did it once and i crashed the entire system.





but! what's interesting is that now it works fine. stays at 55C. as far as i know, i didn't do anything. for some reason it is good!
