xfce - how do I select it?

Hi,

I am keen to try xfce, but since I'm used to the point-and-click OS (no names please!) I'm not being intuitively drawn to how to switch to use it by default (or back again if it all goes horribly wrong!).

The desktop switcher obviously only supports KDE and gnome.

So, how do I switch to it?
