Hi, I've just upgraded from FC1 to FC2. Sound used to work OK. Now, when I reboot, sound doesn't work. However, if I go to 'Soundcard Detection' and select 'Play test sound' the test sound plays fine, and then everything works OK. I am guessing that it's probing something. Any ideas how I can get it to probe itself automatically? Thanks, Joe PS. It's pity it's not always clear what application is run by a menu option in gnome (or other window managers) as it's a bit of a pain running ps all the time to find out what's at the backend. -- Joe Dauncey
