I just run an upgrade on a test machine using up2date and it failed
upgrading from FC1 to FC2 with:

Unresolvable chain of dependencies:
libc-client 2002e-5 requires imap
redhat-config-mouse 1.1.2-1 requires /usr/bin/python2.2
redhat-config-network-tui 1.3.10-1 requires /usr/bin/python2.2

The redhat-config tools keeping outside of discussion, I do not
understand why it fails with dependencies imap and libc-client. Anyway,
I just want to note that the up2date upgrade process does not erases
uw-imapd and exchanges it with cyrus-imapd. To get up2date upgrading I
erased the redhat-config tools and the imap package. Of course the
upgrade then did not install any IMAP server, neither cyrus-imapd RPM
nor dovecot. I installed Cyrus-IMAPd by hand.

Why is Cyrus-IMAPd "non working"?! Can you be more precise? If you mean
the necessary setup with the MTA (Sendmail, Postfix, Exim) for delivery,
that is no question: because the Cyrus-IMAPd is very powerful and needs
total a different setup with the MTA than dovecot (Cyrus-IMAPd can run
without system users created for mail recipients). What really is
lacking is a preparation for easy activating the combination. Therefor I
made the bugzilla RFEs, but it means not Cyrus-IMAPd itself.

Do you mean Cyrus-IMAPd coming with FC2 is "non working" in any other
sense?
