SV: .htaccess files and apache

Here is some more information.
I want to get passwords and username to work, and the lines I am using is:
#-----------------
AuthPAM_Enabled on
order allow,deny
allow from all
require group site2
Authname Passordsikret
Authtype Basic
AuthAuthoritative off
#------------------

In /var/log/messages I get this error:
httpd(pam_unix)[XXXX]: authentication failure; logname= uid=xx euid=xx tty= ruser= rhost= user=xxxx

In /var/log/httpd/error_log I get:
[error] [client xxx.xxx.x.x] PAM: user 'xxxxxxxxx' - not authenticated: Authentication failure

(X's set in to hide numbers and usernames)

Hope this helps someone to see what's wrong.
