The official mirror includes the headers for yum, so all should be yum
capable.  APT you are on your own.

That would require changing the list for every release (and keeping two
lists for a majority of the time).  And another two lists for every
architecture.

Instead, the mirrors have a standard stucture.

This gives no indication of bandwidth or speed of the mirror.
