You would pay all that money for Oracle then put it on a platform that
they don't support?

Allow me to echo William here and amplify: paying for Oracle licenses (which cost what I consider to be huge sums of money), and putting your business on it (which hopefully is what _you_ consider large sums of money), and then switching to an unsupported operating system is... well, stupid.
