How does one make a boot floppy in such cases?
How do I boot into my system now if there
is a problem with the MBR?
Thank you for any input.

Use CD #1 as a rescue disk booting via "linux rescue" at the boot prompt. If you have a network install point set up you could also boot from a boot.iso cd (see the images directory on your CD #1).
