I don't want to start a holy war, but suggesting that a newcomer use vi without making sure they know how to use it can be a formula for disaster; it's not exactly new-user friendly. Adam, if you're not familiar with vi, consider using nano, as it's got all of the most common commands right at the bottom of the screen for you. (Hint: ^G is a very, very old computer shortcut for Ctrl-G.) That's not to say you shouldn't use vi if that's what you like, just that nano is easier to use if you've never seen either of them in use before. -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
