If you've already browsed to a website, the browser may not bother to
check for the IP address again.  I find Firefox does this; and when I'm
testing things, I have to completely exit the browser before I can get
it to connect to a different IP for the same domainname.

It's such a nuisance, apart from the waiting around, it's a pain if you
had tabs or windows open on other things that you don't want to close
off.  So I install another web browser, and test with that.
