Hi, I have problem with Brasero. I am trying to save my photos to CD/DVD but get error telling me that some files are bad. And all are bad. The files are JPG files an can't be open with gimp etc. If I use "file" to get filetype I get following: $ ls -l totalt 445 -r--r--r--. 1 jonsi jonsi 221757 22 feb 10.58 024_2.jpg -r--r--r--. 1 jonsi jonsi 232762 22 feb 10.58 025_1.jpg $ file * 024_2.jpg: ERROR: cannot read `024_2.jpg' (Input/output error) 025_1.jpg: ERROR: cannot read `025_1.jpg' (Input/output error) $ From the brasero.log I get following which I think is suspisious: Ny anteckning 10 BraseroReadom called brasero_job_get_action BraseroReadom linked to BraseroChecksumImage BraseroReadom getting varg BraseroReadom called brasero_job_get_action BraseroReadom called brasero_job_get_current_track BraseroReadom called brasero_job_get_output_type BraseroReadom called brasero_job_get_current_track BraseroReadom called brasero_job_get_output_type BraseroReadom reading from sector 0 to 318158 BraseroReadom called brasero_job_get_fd_out BraseroReadom called brasero_job_set_use_average_rate BraseroReadom got varg: readom dev=/dev/sr0 -nocorr -noerror -sectors=0-318158 -f=- BraseroReadom Launching command BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_get_action BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_get_current_track BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_set_current_action BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_get_current_track BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_get_fd_in BraseroChecksumImage Starting checksum generation live (size = 651587584) BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_set_nonblocking BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_get_fd_in BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_get_fd_out BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_get_fd_in BraseroChecksumImage called brasero_job_get_fd_out BraseroReadom called brasero_job_get_fd_in BraseroReadom called brasero_job_get_fd_out BraseroReadom stderr: Read speed: 7056 kB/s (CD 40x, DVD 5x). What I conclude from this is that "brasero" have problem making ISO image. I have used Brasero to burn IOS image without problems and I still can do that. -- Regards Jon Ingason -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
