I entered a report at https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29042 Since this is for a different driver to yours I thought it was appropriate for it to have a separate bz. Seems that support for both the sensitivity parameter as well as tx power varies a lot between drivers - some are good and others less so! However my original posts on the problem with NetworkManager were it seems misplaced, mainly due to my own lack of knowledge that the issues I was seeing were not due to a fault in NM, or indeed wpa_supplicant, but in fact due to limited support for the necessary functions in the drivers that supported the wireless chipsets in the laptops I was using. If you have the well-supported chipsets then the issues I had with good choice of initial connection, and also when attempting to roam APs with the same ssid would work well - provided the setup of configs for wireless is done carefully and correctly! -- mike c -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
