I would like to shrink the Fedora 14 LVM partition to make more room for the Windows NT partition. I have reduced the root logical volume to free up 20G in the volume group and would like to shrink the volume group by that amount. Thanks in advance for your help. I assume your NT partition is the first partition? If so that means you need to shrink for Fedora partition from the front which is much more difficult. To add another wrinkle, your /boot partition and possible your swap partition probably sit between your NT partition and the LVM partition. If that's the case I would backup whatever personal/important data from the F14 install and remove all the linux partitions. Then you can use something like a gparted live CD to resize your NT partition (back up data from it too first just in case!) and then reinstall F14.
