You might consider using the applet named "Shut Down" instead. If you click it, you can select suspend from the dialog that appears, and it will put the machine in a low power state, one that's easily and quickly restored from, by pressing a key. On my Thinkpad, suspend reduces power from 35 to 5 watts and restores in around six seconds. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
