Hard links can only be created to files on the same file system.

To create a hard link, the original file and the link file should exist in the
same partition.

LVM is a logical superstructure consisting of different physical partitions on
same or different disks.

different phisical partitions ?
why ... the phisical partitions are those:
   Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks   Id  System
/dev/sda1   *          63      409662      204800   83  Linux
/dev/sda2          409663   488392064   243991201   83  Linux

maybe u mean virtual partitions... ?
