Well, let's see.

Right after I jumped on FC14, sometimes with a fresh install and
sometimes with an upgrade, it became nearly impossible to find mirrors
from which I could update the new installation.  I assumed that was
because there is an inevitable lag between releasing a new
distribution and getting lots of mirrors up-to-date, even to the
extent of knowing that there was such a thing as FC14.

I never mentioned the problem because I assumed it was normal.  Maybe
it is and maybe it's unrelated, but I thought it worth mentioning now.
