For whatever it is worth:
- omit speed (let it figure out the optimal speed)
# wodim -v dev=/dev/scd0 Fedora-14-x86_64-DVD.iso
- you did not specify the media, so just in case you use DVD-RW
- make sure that it is unmounted
# umount /dev/scd0
- blank it
# wodim -v blank=all dev=/dev/scd0 Fedora-14-x86_64-DVD.iso
