Seems to be OK for me. Thanks, that was a good idea. I changed to the UK keyboard and the majority of the keys is now what I expect (it seems the UK keyboard is very similar to the Irish one). There are a few keys that still do not work, such as those with accents (áéíóú) plus the euro sign (€), but I can live without them on the console. I changed the keyboard using system-config-keyboard, and it reported that it loaded the UK map from the /lib/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty directory, so I was on the right track. There is no keymap for Ireland in that directory. I went upstream for the relevant package (kbd) and there is no keymap for Ireland either. This likely means that I would need to create my own if I want a 100% correct keymap. Some day, maybe. -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
