If it is a multi-function device, make sure the drivers drive
everything and not just the printer bit, otherwise you have only
a printer that is too expensive.

Almost all of the HP all-in-one devices have full support for
all the features under hplip (though for some reason they seem
to keep this a secret - you'll never see linux support
mentioned on any HP product page).
