The /var/log/rpmpkgs file was created via a daily cron job. In order to drop the dependency on cron, it was split out of the base rpm package into rpm-cron. > Where can I get the list of installed packages ? If you want to have /var/log/rpmpkgs, install rpm-cron. If you just want the current list of installed packages, use rpm -qa. The exact command that the cron job runs is: /bin/rpm -qa --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release}.%{arch}.rpm\n' 2>&1 \ | /bin/sort -- Todd OpenPGP -> KeyID: 0xBEAF0CE3 | URL: www.pobox.com/~tmz/pgp ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The kind of man who wants the government to adopt and enforce his ideas is always the kind of man whose ideas are idiotic. -- H.
