In my case:
$ sha256sum -c Fedora-13-i386-DVD.iso CHECKSUM
sha256sum: Fedora-13-i386-DVD.iso: no properly formatted SHA256 checksum 
lines found
Fedora-13-i386-DVD.iso: OK
