Although the OP didn't say one way or the other, the fact they are
still running a FC4 machine would tend to indicate they don't want to
upgrade frequently. With the ~6 month release cycle of Fedora I still
think it would be better to move to another distribution. i.e. RHEL,
CentOS, Ubuntu LTS, etc.
