I've upgraded two other machines without a problem. On the third one I get to the end of the dependency check and this appears: ... ---> Package kdebase-workspace.i686 0:4.3.2-1.fc12 set to be updated --> Processing Dependency: ksysguardd = 4.3.2-1.fc12 for package: kdebase-workspace-4.3.2-1.fc12.i686 ---> Package report-plugin-bugzilla.i686 0:0.14-1.fc12 set to be updated ---> Package report-plugin-localsave.i686 0:0.14-1.fc12 set to be updated ---> Package report-plugin-scp.i686 0:0.14-1.fc12 set to be updated ---> Package texlive-texmf-errata-dvips.noarch 0:2007-7.fc12 set to be updated ---> Package texlive-texmf-errata-fonts.noarch 0:2007-7.fc12 set to be updated updates/filelists_db | 8.2 MB 00:10 --> Processing Conflict: 6:kdelibs-4.4.5-1.fc12.i686 conflicts kdebase-workspace-libs < 4.3.80 --> Finished Dependency Resolution 6:kdelibs-4.4.5-1.fc12.i686 from updates has depsolving problems --> kdelibs conflicts with kdebase-workspace-libs kdebase-workspace-4.3.2-1.fc12.i686 from fedora has depsolving problems --> Missing Dependency: ksysguardd = 4.3.2-1.fc12 is needed by package kdebase-workspace-4.3.2-1.fc12.i686 (fedora) Error: kdelibs conflicts with kdebase-workspace-libs Error: Missing Dependency: ksysguardd = 4.3.2-1.fc12 is needed by package kdebase-workspace-4.3.2-1.fc12.i686 (fedora) You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem You could try running: package-cleanup --problems package-cleanup --dupes rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest I've tried the package-cleanup suggestions, no joy. I tried --skip-broken, that didn't work either. yum update kdebase-workspace-4.3.2-1.fc12.i686 gives a dependency error on ksysguardd, yum install ksysguardd-4.3.2-1.fc12.i686 says its already installed. So I'm stuck at this point and I don't want to reinstall. Any ideas?
