[SOLVED] grub menu is automatically skipped

Thank you a lot for you fast reply. Adding the "default" option make it work. I keep the "timeout" option, because I want it and I remember that it was from the original installation.

comment out the line "timeout=10".
there should be a line "default=0" above "timeout=10".
