I ran the command

$ sudo /usr/bin/system\-config\-network\-cmd
.
.
.
DeviceList.Wireless.ra0.IPv6Init=False
.
.
.
DeviceList.Ethernet.eth0.IPv6Init=False
.
.
.

So, clearly, ipv6 is not the cause of the problem.
