Always quote the full Yum output, please. You tried to trim it down, but deleted details that may be important. Some comments: The compat-db update is this: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/compat-db-4.7.25-3.fc13 It includes compat-db47-4.7.25-3.fc13 for both i686 _and_ x86_64: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=178423 However (!): The i686 build of compat-db47-4.7.25-3.fc13 was not composed into the x86_64 updates repository, whereas the previous -2.fc13 build remains in the stock F13 "fedora" repository. http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/updates/13/x86_64/ So, there is no multiarch update for compat-db47-4.7.25-2.fc13.i686 and if that one really is needed by something else for a x86_64 multiarch install, this is a problem. There should either be a proper multiarch update or an "Obsoletes" tag in the x86_64 package to get rid of the old [if unused] i686 pkg.
