Thanks for the advice. I did google as you suggested, but found that most of the responses seemed to suggest that one had to (or should) make a whole plethora of changes. The simplest, and most lucid, advice I found was in <http://www.joeldare.com/wiki/linux:adding_the_spamhouse_sbl_and_xbl_to_sendmail> where the author suggested simply adding the line FEATURE(`dnsbl',`sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org')dnl to /etc/mail/sendmail.mc running "make -C /etc/mail" and "service sendmail restart". Assuming this is correct, and is an effective safeguard, it seems a little surprising to me that it is not suggested somewhere in the Fedora-13 documentation. (Or maybe it is?) I actually find SpamAssassin by itself is quite adequate, reducing spam to perhaps 5% of my email. But if adding SpamHaus improves even this I am more than willing to try it. -- Timothy Murphy e-mail: gayleard /at/ eircom.net tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
