Your instincts are good. I trashed my F12 laptop this way because I wasn't paying attention and let it run. I ended up having to do a fresh install of F13 and redoing all my local mods, it was a royal pain. --Greg
yum-complete-transaction --cleanup-only
should clean up your transaction log, and start the process from beginning.
