My man page indicates "c" and the unit for byte. "b" is for block, and "S" is 
for Stupid, which is my opinion of this implementation. In any case -1000000000c 
works as expected, all the other suffixes (suffices?) are file system block 
dependent. And if I read it write, the V7 UNIX sector size on the PDP-11.
