Vis-a-vis your note of 2010-03-23 07:21: > Since my 8 fedora 11 hosts did their March 20 update of mcelog I have > been getting hourly e-mails from cron on each host with the text : > > /etc/cron.hourly/mcelog.cron: > > mcelog: warning: 18446744073709551600 bytes ignored in each record > mcelog: consider an update >... You're not alone. The mcelog "fix" was apparently based on the mistaken assumption that kernel 2.6.32 was the F11 stable kernel. A kludge to unfix the fix for the actual 2.6.30 F11 stable kernel is promised Real Soon Now, cf. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=570859. Sigh.
