Actually no, it doesn't, it stopped doing that long ago. You get 32-bit stuff only if: * you install a 32-bit app which drags in the 32-bit libraries it needs, or * you install the wine metapackage which will also drag in 32-bit WINE (and its dependencies) as it's the one you're most likely to need, or * you changed the setting in yum.conf to make yum pull both versions by default.
