I would start by finding and reinstalling all corrupted Perl CPAN RPMs.
`rpm -qVa perl*` is your friend.
Then, there might be a local db containing CPAN metadata, you'd need
to clean up that as well.

Installing Fedora 12 over, at this point, might be a faster solution :)
