Starting with the very basic basics.

Using the system-config-printer gui:

Looking at the 'Printer Properties' dialog:

I don't see a driver field, but I do see a Make and Model: field that
currently shows "Brother HL-1250 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.4 on
192.168.1.7"

When I click on the 'Change ...' button I get a list of Brother printers
that does *not* include the DCP 7020. [That is why I tried the HL 1250]

HOWEVER ...

When I experiment on another machine with a different printer; and try
to change the "Make and Model: field" for that printer the dialog that
pops up does include the Brother DCP 7020 and the Foomatic/hl1250
driver. !!!

I have double checked my connections, particularly the USB. Besides, the
'Device URI:" is correctly reading the address as
'usb://Brother/DCP-7020'.

Both machines are running completely updated Fedora 12.

I have thought of removing the printing application from the errant
machine and re-installing but I want to be sure I get the right
package(s).
