I'm not a fedora-announce subscriber - so I only saw the message cross-posted to this list - sorry! ... but that announcement was for 11:00 UTC 12/12/2009 - which is still well before your message saying it started in 20 minutes (which I received at 23:09 UTC) but well after Simon's reported problems.
