Just out of curiosity... were you doing this on F10?
I had Fedora 8 and I want upgrade clamav-f8 to clamav-f11; I did:rpm -Uvh ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/updates/9/i386.newkey/fedora-release-*.noarch.rpm
no problemsrpm -Uvh ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/updates/10/i386.newkey/fedora-release-*.noarch.rpm
no problemsrpm -Uvh ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/release/10/i386/os/Packages/fedora-release-*.noarch.rpm
no problemsrpm -Uvh ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/10/Fedora/i386/os/Packages/fedora-release-*.noarch.rpm
no problems yum update clamavand with this command I upgraded clamav-f8 to clamav-f10 without problems, now I must go to F11
yum update rpm no problems and when I dorpm -Uvh ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/11/Fedora/i386/os/Packages/fedora-release-*.noarch.rpm
