Hi there, With fedora, you normally point to the kernel directive. Like this: kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.30.9-90.fc11.x86_64 ro root=/dev/mapper/vg_coolzeropc-lv_root rhgb quiet Here a full example: title Fedora (2.6.30.9-90.fc11.x86_64) root (hd0,1) kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.30.9-90.fc11.x86_64 ro root=/dev/mapper/vg_coolzeropc-lv_root rhgb quiet vga=0x31B initrd /initrd-2.6.30.9-90.fc11.x86_64.img This should work without problems. Of course, you need to set the root=/dev/mapper/whatever to your suitable settings. Good luck! Greetings, Jim. > > Hi all, > > I've just installed Ubuntu 9.10 along side F11.
