I looked at your web page suggestions. I have not 
looked at your 2 configuration files yet, but I noticed 
that you indicate telling Firefox not to use a proxy 
for certain problem sites.

With no proxy for:

- www.pcpoints.ca > it still doesn't work
- ssl.google-analytics.com > the site now displays

I am not sure what to do now. google-analytics is known 
to be a privacy-compromising cross-site tracking site, 
so it should definitely be blocked, but...

blocking it causes some (at least one known, so far) 
essential sites not to work at all.

Any way to solve the conundrum?
