computer speed test

Dear all!
I've bought additional memory for my 'F11 super charged' desktop. At
the moment it has 512 MB of RAM. I've bought 1 GB. So, it's gonna be
1.25 GB. Before doing upgrade I would like to test its speed
(productivity) in its current condition to comparison. What can you
suggest me? The best solution would be some console command, not
involving any GUIs, and no video.
Thanks in advance!
